Letty Vélez, CEO & FOUNDER
Letty Vélez is a Latina serial entrepreneur, who creates value for her Clients & Community Partners & is known as a “Community Navigator.” She is a strong advocate for Small & Minority Owned Businesses, a voice to Legislators & Corporations on Small Business’ rights & driven on equity justice. She is a powerful convener, change maker, activator & trusted economic development expert. Letty is unapologetic about creating visibility for Small Businesses, she embodies innovation, is a think visionary & hot commodity. She was featured on Fox News as an expert on Small Businesses & grant funding. Acquiring over $6m in grants for underserved businesses & nonprofits during Covid 19, she has a pulse on access to funding. She founded, led & managed multi-million dollar businesses, transformed struggling procedures into successfully efficient processes, implemented consensus & cultural transformations.
Her professional experience lead her to created Walmart’s first free shuttle program in the U.S. Other clients that she has worked with includes: Sam’s Club, NFL, Chicago Bears, McDonalds, Cubs, PGA, NASCAR, Transportation Security Administration (TSA),
O’Hare Airport, Rosemont Convention Center, River’s Casino, Hyatt, Abbott, City Colleges of Chicago, Rush Hospital, UIC to name a few.
Letty is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business Chicago Cohort 1 Alumni, who was chosen from her peers to represent them in the inaugural commercials & appointed to speak at the White House on behalf of Small Businesses. She is a 10K SB Captain for Capital Hill, 10K SB Voices Access to Capital Task Force Member & Ambassador.
In 2021, Letty was interviewed by the White House & SBA Administrator to be a part of the Biden- Harris Administration to oversee six states in the Midwest, which was a Presidential Appointment. The experience was an honor, as a passionate US Citizen, a Latina leader & businesswoman.
